Duratrax Evader DT
1 Attachment(s)
Something new from DTX thats not a Vendetta (which I love)
http://www.duratrax.com/cars/dtxd31-...-dt/index.html Looks like a very nice basher, and the scale looks dont hurt either :D Surprised they didnt go ahead and release a roar approved corr truck but not everybody races so it should be fun. |
That is sick, I may get one for my son to play around with.

was wondering when they were gonna follow the leader...

Not following, Leading. Not a sc truck, not a st truck just something to bash around with :sneaky: |
no Im not degrading the duratrax stuff and some have made the most from them, but by the time you upgrade might as well have a more popular brand:cool:

At first I thought, It is what it is, they threw a short course tires and a truck body and bumper on an Evader. Anybody with $50 can probably do this to their Evader when it's released.
Then I actually looked up the specs and it's a bit weird. If they had done the above then they'dve have been closer to having a short course truck. This thing is actually a bit odd. It's long enough, but way too narrow to be in the short course class. Maybe put the Evader ST arms on it to widen it? DTXD31** Specifications Length: 18.5 in (470 mm) Width: 9.5 in (242 mm) Height: 8.1 in (205 mm) Weight w/battery: 3.9 lb (1.75 kg) Includes: Fully assembled Evader DT 1/10 scale 2WD electric pre-runner truck, 2-Channel Radio System Requires: 6-cell NiMH or NiCd battery, charger & 8 "AA" alkaline batteries Evader EXT ST Length: 16.1" (409mm) Width: 12.9" (327mm) Height: 6.6" (168mm) Weight: 3.6lb (1.63kg) Wheelbase: 11.6" (294mm) Front Tread: 11.5" (292mm) Rear Tread: 11" (279mm) wheels on-center side-to-side Front Track: 12.4" (314mm) Rear Track: 12.8" (325mm) wheels at outer edges Ground Clearance: 1.4" (36mm) Body- Length: 15.3" (390mm) Width: 6" (152mm) at front wheels, narrowest point Width: 6.7" (170mm) at rear wheels, widest point Height: 4" (103mm |

The ext needs alot of help while the older St or pro st is a very capable racer. The DT is not meant to be a racer, it shares alot of parts with the ext/exb. Exb arms, dogbones steering linkage EXt shock towers This truck is gonna be a blast. According to tower (I had to call) should be available mid-July :) |
