Hey yall I'm having trouble gettin my tires to stick my rims. Can yall let me know the in and outs cuz theeze wheels aint cheap. I used proline glue but they didn't seem to work right

Is the glue not sticking to the rims, or is it the tires?

Tires I'm told to wipe down with alcohol first before gluing. Fancy chrome rims may need to be roughed up with a dremel or sandpaper first.

I was told by the resident experts that with standard rims and tires, just wipe em down with alcohol to remove any residue and fully seat the beads of the tires. Use thin CA, and work your way around letting it flow into the gap your open a little. Now I'm talking just standard Associated or Losi rims. Are yours plated or something that might reduce the glues effectiveness?

You can scuff the rims with sandpaper a little to roughen up the surface so the glue has something to adhere to.

Heres a few more tips
before you mount them flip them inside out and rap a piece of packing tape around them loosely, so they keep their same shape. Now, fill the air holes of the rims with ca. Now, put several small holes in the tires. The rubber is very elastic so the holes will not be gaping or anything. This is so that water and debris will spin out of the tires when ever some gets in them. Now, scuff up your rims. mount them up on the rims. Take a rubberband and put it right over the top of the tire where it goes in the groove. Now, take a tube of thin ca and stick it in the bottom of the rim. Run it around the inside of the rib while ca is going into the rim.
