Cain-
I was emailed a photo of that kose mount. We can make it here but I need to get my hands on one first. The anodizing would have to be sent out, but I'd be happy with just billet aluminum-silver.

yeah, getting one is the issue I am having right now. Another owner on the www.radiocontrolzone.com board is looking into getting the mounts, I believe they go for about $30 .

More good reports on the vehicle as well. Would be great some drivers go to the Stock Nats with it and do well.

Yes, it's 55Euros here in Austria, so pretty much the same.

Anyways, I wanted to show some pics of my car.
Don't care about the ugly paint job, the color was labelled "Light-blue fluorescent"... so there you go

that is one reason I am not going to order it direct from MRC or from a LHS as they will have it set at retail. I am hoping to see what ultimatehobbies prices them at.

I am going to be setting up my vehicle for tommorrow's races tonite or early tommorrow ( will be home with my daughter ), so if anyone is interested I can take pics of a side by side of the old style UJ with the new style UJ.

I plan to install the new UJ on the other side ( I only installed one so far ) so I have both of the new styles up front, and order a set of UJ axles to have full UJs all around.

hey guys,

the new slipper is specific for the SB Sport buggy and will sell for 25.50 retail. If the percentages keep up with how Ultimate hobbies prices things, could be under $20 for the upgrade.

There is no great hurry to push out the Pro version as far as I can see, there are issue's that need to be resolved with the Sport version to make a Pro version viable, there are things that need to be changed.

As for pricing, take a look at the pricing structure for the Touring car STR4 Pro and Pro Sport, that may give an indication of the cost, but that is ONLY an indication.

Come on guys, do you want a pro which you would need to buy things for, except personal preferences like shocks maybe, or would you rather it be on the ball in kit form, I know which one I want.

Actually DaCookieMonsta the pro should have everything that you would want to buy in the first place, thats the primarly reason people have interest in it. If it doesn't have the upgrades, no need to call it the pro.

I do however agree on wanting to get all the teething issues resolved so we have a top notch kit, no doubt there. But I think that based on how quick academy is at addressing issues with the vehicle, I think if they pushed for it they could get a quality pro version out to us.

As for when it will be released, I am getting this from a good source who has told me that due to the big interest in the vehicle, they are strongly considering moving the date up. how definitely is that? Not sure, but its more sure I guess than back when they first released the sport version.

I like the sb sport but dont know where to go for hop ups, like cf chassis, threded shocks, a better motor mount, etc, I dont have a buggy yet but I am planning on getting one within the next couple of week, and wanted to know if I should get the sport now and put hop ups on it or wait for the pro and not have to, I also like the XXX4s but I thought that the whole belt idea would be a pain in the @$$. so I am not sure what to do at this point. Please help me out.
