To answer your question the shocks look like they are plastic with aluminum caps. I believe you can get AE springs to work, but its not that hard to replace them with AE or Losi shocks if you want. Just make sure you have the shock mounting harware from that company and you will be set. I have heard the shocks perform well. I will probalby be going with AE shocks as I have springs for them.

Here is an update on the bearings that will work to complete the buggy:

4 total: 5x10x4mm
4 total: 10x15x4mm
4 total: 4 x 8 x 3mm FLANGED Bearing ( for steering )

going through RCboyz, about $15 for all those bearings. so basically you get a new 4wd buggy kit with full bearings for $160 shipped through Ultimate hobbies ( bearings from rcboyz ).

I wonder how similar the chassis is between the buggy and the Pro sedan they make. I will check into that.

Here is some better pics of the car ( not mine ) you may be able to judge if the brushless will fit, I think some trimming on the underbody will do it.

Cain,
Thanks for the info about Ultimate. I called and ordered one myself.
Do you know M3 size turnbuckles will fit the kit ball cups? Do you also have the measurements for all the turnbuckles? I would like to order the bearings you specified and the turnbuckles as well so when the kit get here next week, I can start building it.

Cain, sorry I havent gotten back to you sooner. I built my Sb-sport, its an awesome car. Make sure you order the rest of the bearings for the front and rear hubs, and both front and rear diffs before you build the car, also for the top and bottom of the steering assembly. I also added a set of B3 front and rear shocks, also turnbuckles from a B3 will fit directly. I love the car, also one more thing make sure you order a set of rear universals. Other than that I had to grind ALL of the hubs, as they werent clearing the drive pins once you installed and tightened the wheels. This car is awesome, I have been racing since 1986 and have built mostly ALL of the best 4 wheel cars since then. I also collect, and have some very rare and desirable cars. I think this car is pretty durable considering its made in Korea. Oh one more thing, it does come with plastic shocks. I didnt even bother building them, a top level car should not have plastic shocks.

If anyone cares to see any more pics let me know. I feel the car is a legitimate contender in the 4 wheel class. As far as performance, I havent had time to install my electronics, or have the body painted so I cant tell you how she runs, but the car is very smooth and free, and has many adjustments to fine tune her. I tell ya for the money (I paid 199.00 from MRC directly) you just cant go wrong. I hear Ultimate Hobbies in California carries the car for 149.99. Its an awesome buy, I think whomever is looking for a 4 wheel car and doesnt want to spend too much this is definitely the car. I also hear a "pro" version will be coming out. No idea when though.

Ultimate is out. I just called and they said the 2 that they got went almost instantly. Is MRC the only place I can get one of these online?

Mo Joe, what is the bearing size for the inside differentials? the Academy guys told me that to complete the car you only needed the wheel bearings, maybe this is similar to how the associated diffs come with bushings because going to bearings would be a problem and is not recommended? I know this is how it is with my TC3.

Thanks though for the info, keep us informed on how it goes. I got a LHS to put in some orders for common parts and a set of UJs for the rear.
