servo for a xxx nt?

Which servo would you guys recomend for steering in a xxx nt. i don't want to buy a digital, just a good servo.

i have been thinking about the hitec 925mg:
*103 oz
*.08 sec.

would this be a good, or would i be better of spending the 30 more dollars to get a airtronics 94357Z:
*125 oz.
*.07 sec.

thanks,
jake

hi, the hitec are cheaper (price wise) then the airtronics, but in the long math of it, the airtronics will have less wear then the hitec

As a completely unbiased opinion (I have no radio sponsor) I simply do not like Hitec equipment..especially their servos.

I have had great luck with both Futaba and Airtronics equipment. I have used both the Futaba S9450 and Airtronics 94357 as steering servos in my XXX-NT, with great luck. I now use the 357's exclusively.

Yes definetly go with airtronics or futaba. There have been so many guys around here that burn up hitecs, every race weekend there have been failures, and 90% are hitecs.

I've had a HS5925 in my NT, TC3 or T3, for about 2 years now and its awsome. Zero problems, super fast and tons of torque. Don't listen to the hitec bashers, hitec is awsome!

Hitec servos do not center as well or as consistently..

From someone who has paid for his own servos for years and years, I cannot truthfully recommend Hitec servos to anyone.

Default Servo

I had a Hitec for my throttle. Great servo, if you only race 3 times. Ill be throwing in a Futaba 3003 until I can afford something better. Ill never buy Hitec again.
