You should try upgrading to the optional Traxxas Center Differential. This should help alleviate the problem.

So how fast is you slash? I know quite a few people running 3s in theirs and not having any problems. you will go through drivshafts faster having more power, but not that quick. If you try to land before you get on the power will increase the longevity of them too.

I have had my 4x4 since the day they were released and I havent broke one front drive shaft. How many have you wrecked?

I don't know much about the 4x4, but I have a 2x4, and if your slipper clutch is turned down too tight, bad things happen. You should try to loosen your clutch.

I think he means the 6888 part that everybody has broken. Replace it with the hardened steel 6888x.

Sounds like somebody needs to do some forum research here and elsewhere to find all the little nuances of the Slash 4wd.

Sorry but you have to be driving like a jacka** to break 8 in a day.Thats $80 in drive shafts. I get like probably like 20-25 3s packs on a driveshaft before they start getting worn out. especially fronts.
