Default Replacement Bearings for RC10B4

I have just lost 3 bearings in the rear of my RC10B4. I need to replace them and was wondering some items about bearings. What people would recommend. I am only a club racer and I am interested in easier/less maintenance then that extra top speed. When my driving improves I can worry about the extreme best.

Would you use a rubber sealed bearing for Wheels that get a lot of abuse and be prepared to replace them more often?

In the transmission and diff would you recommend something different?

Also is there a particular brand you have found to hold up? I know of AVID, RCB, and Boca. Prices and types are quite different.

I plan on having 2 sets of bearings and 2 spares to replace bad bearings. This will allow me to take my time cleaning a set.

Thanks for the help.

On my T4 I didn't have any blown bearing issues.

How dirty is the area you are running? Maybe you got a bad set of bearings?

You may want to just get into the habbit of cleaning the bearings. Since they are the wheel ones, it shouldn't be too bad to just pop them out. Put them to soak in some motor spray, reoil them and re-install. At most this would take about an hour ( soak time included ).

Cain is right..it's so easy to clean them and reinstall them, no matter what level your at you should do it... and you might as well just get the best stuff right away unless money is the issue, because in the long run it will be cheaper because you already have the good stuff.
