Default Lrp Customer service Issues. AM I The Only One?

They have had my speed control for 6 weeks is this normal for them. I emailed them on 11/5/2012 and they said they checked it in on 10/24/2012. I emailed them on 12/3/2012 and have yet to receive a responce.

I was reading something in another thread and from what I gathered there yes what you are experiencing is normal.

Sorry

I just got my tc spec back a couple days ago. They checked mine in about a month before yours. Their turnaround time is pretty bad right now. They have had a really big backup with BEC issues and waiting for the revised boards. I do agree there "service" is awful. I have had to deal with them a couple times and they are not very good to deal with. They act like you are the first person to ever have a problem with one of their products. I called after waiting the entire warranty period to get my ESC back and I was very polite on the phone, but the guy I talked to was an absolute jerk.

Exact reason why I go with Tekin.

My friend even had trouble with AE customer service. The rep that replied to the email sounded like he was a complete idiot and it took over 2 weeks to send out a pair of axles on a new RTR truck that he bought.

I sent in two batches of speed controls to them. 2 in the first batch and 4 in the second. On Monday I got 1 of the 2 I sent from the first batch. Why they would only send me one...I'm not sure. But nothing we can do about it.

The speed control i sent in was an IX8 it was only one race day old. I bought it just to try something different. It would just randomly quit working. Swaped it out with another speed control not a problem since. I dont understand whats so hard about test the thing, and just send me a new one. They give a 180 day warrenty and keep it for 90 days, just don't seem right to me.

My position on the matter is really kind of a mute point anyhow. As soon as I get them back ill be unloading them all anyway. Not to mention 4 of those speedos are brand new.

They were sending one esc out of a batch with the new board back to most ppl until they get more boards in. I sent 2 in but only got one back, that its the reason.

AE , not Lrp is working the upgrade that way so everyone has a better chance to get a ESC back sooner ...

PS

Kudo's to Ae making possible the
upgrade program for their customers ....

When your Esc comes back ?

You will not sell out the upgrades because they will be the best ESC you ever experience ...

LRP is really slow, but they'll usually take care of you.

I've sent ESCs back to Tekin on a Monday, and received a new one by Friday.
