electric newbie doing a conv, plz help....
 

Ok guyz, here we go, I have an Losi 8t 1.5 siting around and want to try this electric thing. My ??? is do I need to still using my hi voltage servos or is going to b a waste of nice expensive servos. I got sum nice non hi voltage servos, but I heard this combos got the BEC crap. Is all of them??? Is this an option that u can chose when u want to use it???? Thankzzzzzzz:nod:

You will not get the full strength and speed from your HV servos due to the fact that they will be operating at 6 votls.

You can run a Castle Creations adjustable BEC in conjuction with your ESC and set the voltage to 7.4 or 8 volts if you want to get the full power and speed from your servo.

Thanks for the reply, like I say a got sum good non HV servos too, so I'll keep those HV on my nitros and use the regulars on my conv, thanks again. Ur da best.........
