Ben, if your geared correctly you shouldn't need a fan for the sidewinder ESC.
I have the HPI labeled sidewinder and 5700kv with no heat issues at all.
I can run for 20 minutes with no heat issues. What vehicle are you running this in?

I've got it in an rc10 b4. The body is really tight fitting and I am in south Florida. It can get pretty warm here. I am geared correctly although I could probably go down a tooth or two to keep the temps down. I had a big vent in my old body but it got quite a bit of dirt in the chassis. The new body I have vented but it still gets pretty warm. I will go down a tooth or two next time I can run it and temp it afterward. I would rather be safe than sorry.

When I got my EMaxx a few yrs back, Novak was selling a fan for the EVX esc. Fan mounts on a little stand and sits over the finned section on the esc. Thats about the only thing I've seen that would work, theres not really a way to mount a fan on it due to the design of the heat sink. If you've got space probs, doubt you could use it even if you could find one.
The other thing I've seen talked about is mounting the esc on its side and the fan on the chassis so it blows across the heat sink.
