I would suggest going to the traxxas forums and looking under steve slayden's setup thread, or reading through the 4x4 slash forum on here.

type your thread title into the search area. it will bring up the slash 4x4 thread.
if you dont want to read the whole thing, in the upper right hand corner there is a "search thread" button. click that and type what you are looking for and that will surely help you get started.
