Default Protek 4s 5400 35c hard case roar approved ???

Hi there guys has any one tryed these packs with 4s 5400 at 35c with a 70c burst rate i was wondering if anyone has tryed these packs out, they are also rated at 2s2p which would give you more run time than a 4s pack of the same rating wouldnt it ??????

Good price but too big for a rc8.

I have used their 2s packs and they are very good.

2S2P must be a typo. The "2S" part off that indicates that it's 2 cells in series which yeilds 7.2 volts. 4s is 14.4.

Why are people considering packs like this when a 4s 2p a123 pack weighs about 75 grams less?

A123 has lower nominal voltage so comparing 4s side by side you'd either be slower or less efficient. A123 is still a good choice, very tough stuff.

Yes it is R.O.A.R. approved, Mine has the R.O.A.R. sticker on it. I run mine in my RC8e with the Associated e-conversion. Just had to cut the rear of the battery tray out and move the speedo back. And I can still use my 2 Reedy 2s packs.
Now I can run 25 minutes with my Tekin setup(RX8 and 2050 T8)
