Default SC8 Bodies and Rims...Why is there nothing out there?

So the SC8 has been around since 2008 and the short course class has since become one of, if not the 'most' popular classes out there...

Why hasn't J Concepts, AE or any other company come out with anymore body options?

Has anyone found any other bodies to fit and look decent?

There are tons of tire and foam options but only 2 rim options...your standard KMC's and the 12 spoke KMC's.... anyone having better luck than me?

Thanks in advance guys!!

I totally agree. but the split six is a buggy size wheel that only accepts buggy tires. I know the sc tires will fit the sc8 wheels but we need more sc8 options; wheels and bodies.

The SC8 / SC8E didnt take off nearly as much as Slash/SC10/Blitz Class so thats why all the manufacturers are making parts/bodies/tires for the cars that they have a better chance of selling more products to.

CEN has just released a 1/8 based sc truck and so did Robitronics so hopefully this class will take off somewhat and hope other manufactures follow. AE should sell it as a roller to make it more affordable to get into as the rtr is a little expensive. The 1/10 class is more popular because it is cheaper to get into. I just hope that this class don't die off. seems more realistic and true to scale than a converted buggy with 1/10 scale bodies.

I don't think the 1/8 scale SCTs will ever be as popular as the 1/10. The reasons the 1/10 are so popular are low entry cost and low costs to equip and/or modify. They weigh between a 1/10 ST and a 1/8 buggy so they can run very well in a 1/10 electric setup which are lower costs and typically more reliable.
