Get a .12 CV-R, as .15's are not legal for racing.

You will have plenty of power.

If this is your first nitro car you ever owned than you should get a O.S .15 cvx because if it is your first car the .12 cvr would probably still be to much power. And if it is your first car you probably wouldn't even consider racing yet.

Default .15

Would be too much power. Ive got an OS.12 CVR and love it. Im new to nitro, but started racing 10 years ago. Im no rookie, and the .12 is all about I can handle.

The carb on the CV-R is much better than the one that comes on the CV.

The CV-R can be detuned to make it easy enough for the beginner. If you plan on racing, there is no reason to buy a .15.
