I still need to get a new tip for my soldering iron to make the solder joints a little cleaner.

Just my .02 cents, you might want to solder the wires coming from the front of the motor not the rear so the the solder tabs on the motor don't get pulled back. Not sure if its an issue with Losi motors or not. I've had it happen to a Tekin motor with the wires soldered the way you have it.

I think i'm going to get a different motor to where I can solder the wires directly to; in order to clean it up a bit

heres my fs i just got a shorter sensor wire today so it goes under the deck too.
