Lipos on stock esc
 
Hey guys im new to the lipo stuff and i heard u can run a 2 cell lipo on stock esc is the tru.

No, not in general. I run 2 x 2S lipo with my stock EVX esc in my old Emaxx. Volts are volts, esc isn't going to be able to tell as long as the voltage doesn't exceed the esc specs, should be fine.

Lipo does need overdischarge protection and usually thats provided by esc in form of an internal low voltage cutoff. Not all escs have a low voltage cutoff - you either add a separate one (Smart Stop of the like) or run without and be very careful not to overdischarge the lipo (can damage lipo overdisch below ~3v/cell).
