I've used them all and I've had the best luck with the Titan. The Reedy (from the SC10) is a faster motor but it runs much hotter because it's not internally cooled. The Titan may be a closed can but it's internally cooled and it has much more torque than the rest of them. The Firebolt (HPI Blitz) is about the weakest of them all. I ran it in my Blitz while I waited on a Novak system and compared to the Titan it was like night and day.

And yes, you're right, the Losi Strike's motor is almost identical to the Slash's Titan.

Ah yeah, I had forgotten about the Ultima SC. I haven't seen one or tried one out yet so I have no idea about the performance. I keep hearing that they're slowly becoming a top contender in "Stock" SCT racing though.

The Kyosho motor is open ended with a big cooling fan to cool the motor.

Yes it's fast and seems to never get hot. Kyosho also has the best stock
OEM speed control...

Titan is a great performer, you just have to get a good one! And maintain the crap out of it!! I have a pretty good runner in my Slash, and I baby that thing (maintain) to make it last as long as possible!
