That is one way to do it I suppose. The typical method is to get a second chassis and cut it in a different spot further forward or back by the length that you want to add to the chassis. Then glue the two different lengths together with CA.

24mm seems to be pretty good at most tracks. If your track is really bumpy you'll want to raise it to maybe 25mm.

I'll start out with the 201 first, then maybe in a few months I'll get into the 502....I love running 4wd mod so I have to eventually!
