Conversely, is there a metric front hex conversion that does not involve modifying any of the parts?
For the rear wheels, you can use the DB01 12mm hexes (Tamiya 54669) and then use Team Associated B6 rear wheels. The front is going to be harder. IMO, unless you have to have a set right away, look at rcmart or rcjaz. They will have them but shipping will take a while due to the current pandemic.

I bought an used TRF201 and thinking of racing him in stock class and sell my xb2c
Now I got some Questions:
1. is there a good front wheel hex conversion kit or option?
2. are there any got upgrade kits still avaible or just the tamiya XM and XR?
3. Which upgrade are must have`s?

thanks

after cleaning and reassemble there will be pics

The b6 front suspension/hex conversion fits on the 201 series of buggies pretty well, just requires a little shim for the arm at the bulkhead and the ae hingepin if I recall correctly. The flat arms between the two buggies are nearly identical. Most modern buggies run the gullwing arms which would require some modifications to work properly with the 201 kit tower(needs external limiters and more droop on the shock). When I last ran my 211 with the b6 flat or gullwing front end it was very good and easy to drive fast.

There's also this, which I'm going to assume will also work on the TRF 201?
TRF211XM - Jason Moggridge - 12mm Hex Conversion Build
Of course, my luck, it appears the kit is discontinued.

I'm in need of a body for my TRF201. Any suggestions?

It's not just Europe. Finding those kits is not always easy and when you do, they are priced pretty high. There are three TRF211XM kits on eBay right now for over $600 USD each (one around $650, another around $720, and one around $1000). Unless you are a collector, it's hard to justify getting one when you can get a modern 2wd for half the lowest one with parts availability.

Any options to the original wing mount? Mine have seen better days and need to be replaced. Would rather get an upgraded part of there is one.

I saw some guys using the original wing mount but cut of the pin and drilled a hole into it and use screws to fix the wing.

I'm not sure which part number is flat and which is tapered, but the flat one is .075" or 1.90mm. I seemed to have lost one of the tapered ones, which starts at 1.20mm and tapers to 1.80mm and is 18.50mm long.

When I get my new B-parts in, I think I am going to switch to some of the screw down wing buttons like what Exotek sells. I'm also going to run some longer screws through. I've never been happy with the wing mount setup on the TRF201.
