I did order the 54262 reinforced ball diff gear. Are the hinge pin braces a concern or are they aluminum? I dont have the kit yet, I get it next week but I also have a big race next weekend, so I want to have all the parts I need before that race.

thanks
If you ordered the regular 201, you want to upgrade to aluminum suspension hangers. There are also an XA (3.5mm) & XB (4.0mm) hangers. These give you more degrees of toe in. Not sure if they are included in the 201 upgrade kit. The reinforced front arms are also good to have as spares. I did the big bore spring mod but if you have extra cash to spend, get the Tamiya big bore dampers & springs.

I also added a rear sway bar from a TA03 with TA02 end links. We'll see how these perform on my next track event.

I need a setup for 17.5 tight no big jumps med grip indoor. I'm a very aggressive driver who drives hard brakes & turns at the last minute, almost all of the upgrades aluminum will be using stock foams in front with closed cell rear..... Its a new kit for me..... Thanks guys

i would recomend the rear upright alum hubs instead of the hangers ...just my opinion ..i have both but ran the stock plastic hangers in mod no probs

if you have money most of the blue crack is worth it lol ...

I took the rear sway bar off of my TA03F Pro. This was the kit stock sway bar. Tamiya & Kawada also realeased versions with more tunable options but those even harder to find.

I did this mod by using the existing holes on the wing mounts and installing a piece of carbon fiber rod, held with a long screw and nut.

GTFour93, that's a good idea. I'll give that a shot too. My issue was with the screws always coming loose..... probably should try not to spend so much time upside down

This worked pretty good but you still need to keep an eye on the wing stays from backing out. Doing both mods together should make it much better.
