The B4.1 was really pretty good. I got it to where I could run consistent lap times within a few tenths of each other. Qualified 5th and finished 4th, 1 second behind 3rd (Itto). If I had another lap or 2, I would have been 3rd.

I can only hope going back to the Tamiya, I will be as good next weekend.

How many crashes did you have? How many laps did you do? How many laps did the leaders do? Who set the hero lap, and how far off of it were you?

Me crash? You must be joking. How many laps? Enough to finish 4th. How many did the leaders do? Enough to beat me. Who set the hero lap? No clue, didn't look. How far was I off of it? No clue, didn't look, didn't care.

Glad I didn't disappoint.

Now, how about we get back to talking about the Tamiya TRF201.

For this week's race, I've got a fresh JC Finnisher body and I've pulled the Exotek +8 off the car. It will be interesting to see how the car responds. I'm going to start with Losi orange springs and 32.5 up front and Losi Yellow and 30 in the rear. The car seemed to respond well to going heavier on the shock oil (up from 27.5 all around) and a little heavier spring (up from Losi red front/Losi white rear). This is on an outdoor track with very good traction when wet and the sun has gone down.

Any idea if they will make a kit with the new chassis and BB shocks?

$500ish is alot to swallow for the separate parts

After looking at all of your pictures and only trimming where it needed (not on the lines!) it came out great! I need to buy some velcro to mount it and then I'll take a picture. Thanks again for posting up the pictures. My clapped out one made the car so much better in practice, I can't wait to see what a properly fitted one does.

Hey Guys

Been running the new chassis and Shocks for a couple of weeks now, and Wow. What a difference, the new shocks along with the tamiya x-ring seals are extremely buttery smooth

I built the car to run with a shorty pack, i started with the esc behind the battery under the rear shock tower with the battery middle/rear. and the reciever on the right pod. Not liking the layout i moved to the receiver to where the esc was and put the esc up top on the battery strap.

The Best news is jconcept RB6 Body fits awesome.

Thanks
JB

Default TRF 201 Wheels

What kind of wheels do you use on your TRF201 (with hex-hub in front und rear)?

What other kind of wheels (beside the Tamiya-wheels) fit on the 201?
