Here is a pic of mine as I was working on it after a race day.
Not the best photo, I'll have to take more.
I really enjoy driving the 201, more than the B4 and X6.
It has a smoother feel.

You need different rear tires when the track is like it was when that picture was taken. Try Goosebumps. If your tires are loading up, you are not getting the most out of the tires, and you are lugging a bunch of extra weight.

My 201 was perfect last race night. I dropped a 17.5 in to help get a few other guys to see how fast a 17.5 could go. The car was perfect. I ran 1 second slower than my best time with a 7.5. If I could get the car to work that good with a 7.5, I could go really fast. It is about 10% off with a 7.5. Really it comes down to the fact that I always settle for the most consistent tires, and then change my setup based on track conditions. This track is so consistent though, if I switched to the best tires, I know my car would be good enough to go much faster.

It looks like you got on the track before it had finished drying out after being watered.

You are right. The track had just been watered and hadn't finished drying yet. I had to pull it and not run that heat due to a servo problem. Good thing I had a spare with me. It was not a good day for electronics that day. I also ended up burning up my brand new ESC on it's 3rd race.

Anyone want to buy a Bulldog RB5 body for cheap?
What all did you trim ????

I got mine to fit really good with minimal trimming in the front with the help of a heat gun.

I learned from my mistake on my first one not to trim the bottom first before mounting.

Yours looks much nicer than mine. In fact, mine looks downright hacked compared to yours. I trimmed a lot of the nose area and then took a little from the back as well.

The nose is the hardest to get right.

A lil careful trimming and some heat from a heat gun is all you need and it litterally forms itself to the front tub area.

I should dig around and see if i have a pic of the body i did for Pres.

His looks a little different than mine cause i learned to leave the body long on the sides and not use the B4.1 cut lines.

If you have any questions or need some tips pm me amd i can give you a better run down.

Here are a few pics of the body I did for Pres unfortunately I don't have any of it mounted on his car.

But you can tell the side pods are lower on that body compared to the body on my car.
You have to trim the body and almost wedge it from the rear to the front.

I should pick up a clear body and do a tutorial for you guys.

Here are a few more pics of my body fitment on my car.

This pic you can see how the front side pod is a lil short. Again cause I pre trimmed this body using the B4.1 cut lines.

This pic shows the cut lines normally used for the B4.1.
So you can see how I have heated up the body and formed it to the front bulkhead.

I bought a new Finnisher body today and trimmed it the "right way" and it fits so much better and looks a whole lot nicer.

About time to start getting my 201 ready for the weekend. I just picked up the Exotek conversion. Does anyone have a good starting setup using it with a shorty pack for 17.5 blinky?

I just don't get the Exotek conversion. How can you guys justify the weight and rigidity?

My car was perfect again last night. I ran the fastest I have ever run. I did a 24 6:03 with a 17.5, and my best 7.5 time was a 24 6:06. I also had 1 bobble that cost me 2 seconds. The mod guys on Saturdays do 25 laps on good runs. If I can get my car to work like that with my 7.5 I should be able to get 25 laps easy. The one guy who can usually hit 25 laps was in the A at Reedy.

I weighed my car yesterday, and it was 1510g. 11 grams over the limit. I run no weight, no weighted parts, and a shorty battery with all the electronics in the normal places.
