I need to test them and see what the failure time/ rate might be. We will then have them on the site for sale as a bolt on kit.

Hex conversion! Yay!

I tried the AE slipper setup. If you use the inner stock slipper hub with the AE kit and the Kyosho slipper spring it will work

But......

I didn't notice any difference....at all. For my money I'd rather lighten the gear box like Jimmy is suggesting.

I tried the 3b shock pistons tonight with the Exotek rear conversion. Didn't like it at all. The car felt lazy. I did try a front Kyosho pink with tlr yellow springs. That felt good. Next step is playing with the roll center using the 3.0 alum block.

Jimmy, how much would you charge to make a +6mm chassis if someone were to provide their own chassis'?

How on earth were you able to get bearings in the stock front hubs?

I charge $35.

$20 labor, $10 for materials and $5 to ship it back.

I must stress that I will only accept brand new unopened #9334135 chassis'. (It requires two of them) The high traction chassis do not stay together well unless braced and bolted. I can do them but it's an extra $25.

You can contact me at [email protected]

I loaned my 201 ,with Trac Star +6mm chassis, to a guy at our club. He smacked the wall head-on at full throttle. Broke the front and rear arms, but the chassis is perfect.

I remember a ton of pages back Aaron posted the different lengths of various cars in comparison to a stock 201.

With the Trakstar +8 does it bring you to the same length as a B4.1 Worlds Car or is +6 equal?

According to AE's info the B4.1 is 273mm

Tamiya's info says the 201 is 272mm

Neither says if this is per instructions set up or center / center wheelbase.

Through all the testing we did with the 201 we found that we could find a better balance with the +6. Meaning this allowed us to move the front all the way forward or the rear all the way back if need be. This not only allowed us to remain legal but also allowed for some room to move the arms forward or back for more set up change rather than just the uprights.

The TS-201T is still being R&D'd at our super secret test track. We have gone through a few changes but the main truck that we posted earlier is still 95% the same as it was.

Chatter from Japan says that we might see one based off of our truck though we have made suggestions to them for base improvements (which will transfer to the 201 buggy)

Time will tell after the hobby show in Japan we will see if an announcement is made.

Thanks for the info. I'll have to visit your website as I am looking for a few more 201 hopups and possibly a +6 chassis.

A 201SC or T would be awesome.
