Default TRX 12T Titan vs HPI 15T blitz motor?

I have an HPI Wheely king that i'm having a blast with but its just not easy enough to pull wheelies. I already have all the driveline parts, ie, metal trans gears, steel driveshafts, lockers, integy HD diff gears. Havent broken anything on it yet, just got all those parts for when they do fail. I have a trx XL-5 esc installed with a HPI 15T stock blitz motor. Its better than stock, has good speed but just lacking on torque. I still have to be almost stopped to pull a wheely on the road even with a 7 cell nimh 5000 mah battery. (great battery). My question is would the Traxxas 12T titan 550 motor be any faster and have more torque? I'm assuming the turn rating is different for 540 and 550 motors as the esc is rated for 12t 550 or 15T 540. I already have a spare titan 12t so if it would be better I will install it. Just didnt want to go thru the hassle and it be the same or slower. Thanks for any info anyone has.

On a sidenote, my Gravedigger prepainted body will be here today, and i'm painting the stock chassis plates green so it looks like GD. Even have the red led lights for the headlights. Should make for some cool vids once its done. I do have a spare Traxxas Velinion system I could install but i'm worried that amount of power may still find something to break. The more I think about it the more I want to try it tho. If the titan 12T isnt going to do I will prob just try the vxl. Sorry for the long post, thinking as I type lol. Thanks, T

I do believe the traxxas does have more torque but the hpi spins faster. If you already have it, throw it in.

From what I understand, the Titan is a lower RPM, high torque motor, which gives you some freedom in gearing. The HPI is a higher RPM motor, without as much torque, but will give you a higher top speed. I race my Slash, and prefer the HPI for this very reason. If you are going for torque, then the Titan is likely your best bet... at least, for a brushed motor

Look into the Kyosho 20T motor, I was really shocked at how quick it was.
