Default Hyper7 With P5 Question??

I have a Hyper7 pro with a novarossi P5 motor and the problem is that the base of the motor is too big and the motor wont slide over enough to put on a clutch bell smaller than an 18 tooth clutch bell. Has anyone had this problem? also do they sell different motor mounts to let the motor sit over more and if not what are my options? Any help is greatly appreciated..thanx

are your motor mounts on in a funky way? I'm not sure if ofna mounts can be put on backwards.. but, I've seen someone do it on another type of car...

I do know some P5's rub on the chassis... it's not a good thing.. so, be careful when getting low profile engine mounts

I know a p5 will go in a hyper pro with a 14t clutch because a friend of mine has one in and I put it in there. There were no problems at all. You must have something wrong in the mounts
