RC10 Rail buggy

Very NICE!! I have an original 1991 RC10T that I would cannibalize in a heartbeat to use the parts for a frame like this. You're doing great on this project. I can't wait to see the final version......

Got some more updates.
I have the front shocks mounted, and the rear shocks mounted. remember, everything is in rough shape right now. I still have to grind down/weld/add more to the whole thing.

It looks really good...but I would definetly make some kinda cross bracing for the front shock mounts. The need to share the load when going over bumps. I have a feeling you will be going through a arms like crazy being that the frame is so rigid it won't absorb impact, placing all of the load on the shock mounts and hinge pin mounts.
Keep up the good work,
Chris

would love to see some updates on this. I would really like to put together a sand rail for the beach. Something that uses Traxxas parts front and rear so that its easy to replace broken stuff since its on the shelf at the LHS. My question is, how tough will one of these chassis be. Id like to go brushless and be around the 45mph mark so if it cartwheels I dont wanna snap a chassis in half haha.
