some of you talking in here race at ocrc. whenever i wash my tires at the tire wash sink they are always a little sticky after they dry. Is peoples sauce washing off into the water and getting onto everyones tires?

oh, raydog, are you ray ray? do you own stickykicks?

Simple green is a degreaser (kind of) so it will make your tires feel sticky as they are just clean. I don't think there is a lot of if any sauce that comes off in the water. RB changes out the water on a regular basis as well. Not everyone uses sticky kicks there as well. A lot of the fast guys do though!

Ray, had a chance to try out the red sauce on pink tired for the main at OCRC on sunday and it worked great. Same traction start to finish!

That's the best part, the traction lasts for your whole race unlike some other sauces that we will not mention here

Thanks, Ryan. See you Sunday.

Ordered the Roja just now. This is my first foray into traction compound. How much do you use per tire? I don't want to waste it but I want the full effect. Squirt it on half the tire and spread it around with a toothbrush or something?

I just run a small bead of Sticky Kicks on the center of the tire all the way around and then tooth brush the bead to the rest of the tire. I use a wrench to rotate the tire around so I dont sticky kick the fingers. Dont need my fingers stuck to the wheel after all is said and done...

Cool. What is the timing of the application? Right before time to run? 30 minutes to let it "soak in"? Does it matter?

Thanks, Wayboarder. That is the hot ticket you guys. I will post a video on the site in a bit. I just drip it on the tire and massage it in. Some people dip the toothbrush into the bottle and then apply it. Get the tire nice and wet but don't over saturate it.

z50kgin, I run a small bit of gas tube on the brake side of my trigger. Instant traction and no more slippy's. Were all about traction at Sticky Kicks
