Thanks
My Weller is a 40 watt so that is probably a big part of it. However I really like the cord for the Hakko much better as well. It seems like I am constantly fighting the cord on the Weller, it is always getting twisted up on me. I know that isn't a big deal but it does get annoying.

I had used Weller 80 watt and 40 watt irons for years . Obly prob is the tips would always burn up within a year . Could never find the right tips so had to keep buying new irons . Bought the Hakko and really like the adjustment and that it heats up to temp in 30 seconds . I regret not getting one sooner .
