Default Okay, I have an original gold-tub RC-10 chassis

As said on the title, I have an RC-10 B1 (me thinks) with the front and rear suspension pieces and that’s about it. What I want to do is to make it competitive, meaning I have to retrofit practically everything. From the steering to of course, the transmission. Is there any kits availible for the B1 or must I turn it into a parts-bin car?

I'd say put on your shelf and admire it. It's now a classic.

Default A classic

I also have 1 of these original RC-10's.

Leave it to collect dust dust on your shelf and get a nice cheap B3 or 4 or XXX or similar current 2wd buggy. you can pick them up complete much cheaper than all the parts you would need to try to make the old RC-10 into a racer !!

HeY!!!

i wouldn't bother, bcuz it's a classic as people already said, and it will be kinda hard to find all parts you need. plus the modern buggy's are prolly much faster and better handling.

Actually Cliff Lett was thinking about busting an AE RC10 Worlds Edition out for next years Cactus Classic!

Boy I sure hope he was kidding!

Dude, just shelve it, and admire it, because it's antique and outdated, and you would have a hell of a time finding parts if you break one!

Do like they suggest, and just pick up a B4 or XXX.

Good Luck Racing...

GB

Keep them wheels a turnin'!
