Will they make a RC8B-E

I'm about to buy a rc8e but I'm wondering if they will ever make the second edition rc8b in an electric edition. Think it would be worth holding off?

Maybe to save the cost of an electric conversion kit. The Losi 8ight E is more or less a Losi 8ight buggy with losi doing the work of installing the electric conversion for you and putting in a brushless system and hiking the price up. Buy the RC8B, a electric conversion and build it electric from the get go and buy a nice brushless system instead of the nitro motor. I recommend the Tekin RX8 system. I just dropped one in my Losi truggy and it is insane.

I have been wondering the same thing but it seems that the way to go is to buy the rc8b and then the conversion kit. I guess as long as they can get us to buy it this way why change it must cost us more this way.

If you compare the price difference in the two part for part, it costs less to build a B and the kit than it does to buy the RC8E and upgrade to the B parts (shocks, towers, etc) so they aren't really making that much extra on the B kit anyway..

Honestly though, the way to go is the RC8B and the conversion. While you're at it.. order the Elite motor mount and save yourself the grief there too :)

ttt

I run the RC8B with the AE conversion. The only thing I did not care for was the motor mount as it's a PITA to service the motor once you bolt it to chassis. Get yourself an Elite RC motor mount and you'll be golden.

i have an rc8b-e. best e buggy iver driven. ive had a d8 with a tekno and my buddy had a mugen with a tekno. he now drives a losi with losi's e conversion. by far the rc8be is way superior to any of those. the losi drives nice. but the rc8 is just better at everything. and it has factory settings. i love it
