The largest pinion you can run with the factory spur is 25, which is under geared for even my 9.5 turn. Your best bet would be to carefully ream out a 78 tooth AE spur, and run a 28 pinion.

x2, that's undergeared for an 8.5, let alone a 13.5.

I ran boosted 13.5 last weekend and ran 79/28, just reamed out a B4 spur until the RW spurs are available.

Guys when installing the diff in the gear case, which side does the plastic nut go on? I run RM 3 gear setup. It looks in the book that the adjustment side is on the pinion side. Is this correct? Thanks guys.

Really? Won't that make the screw unscrew itself when you apply power?

The manual is wrong, I followed the manual and my diff unscrewed itself when you held one wheel. All other classic RM3 have the NUT on the spur side

I've only run RM3 so far. I run on a pretty high traction indoor track so I don't need the extra rear traction from the RM4 setup.

I was playing with an out of box Durango yesterday, man, this thing handles pretty good, and pulling out the diff takes all of 5 seconds! They need a buggy!
