What motor, tranny config., and track surface? Did you use the stock setup? Thanks.

The Factory. Once I get it dialed in and keep it off the wall I'll be up there.

My car came with an additional set of regular (not big more) sized shock pistons and spring collars...

They are on the same tree as another part you needed and its probably cheaper for them to just include the extra parts than for the to run make a new tree and have the costs of a different part number and packaging.

cool, thanks for the setups though, gives me something to start with. Started the build last night and this car is an awsome build, manual needs some updates, but the car itself is nice so far.

I got mine yesterday and finished the build about 11:00 last night.
I just need to do the electronics.

Very nice build, I can't wait to get it on the track!

For those of you that want the latest version of the assembly manual just go to the Durango website.

Well the car ran for the first time last night. I'm not a buggy guy at all, and since Cush can't race with me on Wednesdays I had one of our local buggy aces run a pack through it. For a basically out of the box setup the car looked really good- stable, plenty of steering, good rotation without being too loose, and jumped well. I put 6 hole pistons in and plan to make some 5 and 4 hole pistons to get a bit more pack. Great starting point though. Cush should be competitive out of the gate!

you could try gluing some of the holes closed.

That's what I meant by "make". Lol. We're going to a different track than normal so I plan to leave the 6 holes in but have the others ready to go. Our home track is pretty smooth high bite, but the track we're going to is supposed to be looser and rougher so the extra holes may help. We'll see on Sunday. The car looks awesome though on the track, like the result of a fighter jet and an F1 car mating.

A lot of us are using a soldering iron and melding the piston holes closed. Use a low temp setting so you don't burn the plastic rather simply melt the holes closed.
