Got a chance to see how the jc b5m body fits. It's definitely better than the stock losi body. As far as the chassis performance, it's awesome, there was a lot of grip, but unfortunately I broke 15 minutes into practice so I never got a chance to push it really hard.

do you need the shock end? (the "eyelet" part that attaches to the shock shaft). On the cheap the ones from intech work fine and you don't have to buy a big parts tree.

I use Traxxas part number 2742 for shock ends
Won't pull out and they are heavy duty...much better than the dingo ones imo

Thank you. Unfortunately I ordered the big parts tree, when I could have just gone to my lhs. (Traxxas, not intech). I need to start checking this thread more often haha

I would still get the Traxxas ones and not even bother with the dingo ones......plus the Traxxas ones give you a bit more droop in the rear

They are a little smaller than the dingo ones but remember the spring cups snap in to place on the shaft...........I have cartwheeledand and nothing, landed on the rear arm and on the side where a dingo shock end would have pulled out and they are fine and the spring cup stays in place

I'm a little confused. R u using traxxas spring cups as well?? Or traxxas ball ends and Durango cups??

Dingo cups
its a little dirty from testing today but i run on a real outdoor offroad track and not some indoor clay crap lol....its in rear motor and eating mid motors as a snack....my XB2 with everything i have done to it still isnt as fast unless we water a ton and traction is very high.......selling the XB2 lol

From what I've read throughout this thread, there's been a mixture of both straight arms and gullwing arms being used.

For setting ride height with the gullwings, I am using a trick we use on the 1:1 cars on our steering and setting them with a straight edge from center to center instead of "arms level". Is this right or wrong?

If you draw an imaginary line from inner hinge pin to outer hinge pin, arms level is referenced off of this line. I set ride height at arms level.
