Cain,
Is it possible to modify the dex210 shock towers to accommodate the dex210f wing mount. I know you have both cars. Would the height be equivalent ?? Higher or shorter?? Want to get a wing mount that screws the wing in and not clips. I did get a yz2 one to work well but before I order an expensive aluminum one thought I would ask.
Thanks!!

I dont think so offhand as the mount I beleive is the same as the dex410v5 which I still do have (sold the dex210F awhile ago). If graphite however, maybe you could modify the dex210 graphite tower to use the dex410v5/dex210f mounts.

You could however just drill out the stock dex210 wing mounts, one of the wing mounts I had here someone did that and was using screws instead.

the stock 210f/v5 mounts are junk, so you'd want the exotek aluminum ones, but at that point just get the proper exotek wing mounts :P

Thanks guys,
I agree. Was just trying to find an alternative that might mount the wing a little higher.
Thanks

PS: I like the gold one better. LOL

Default HRC vs LRC

Hello all,
I know the difference between the two but want to know what you guys have experienced. The V1 came with a HRC rear hanger and the V2-3 have the low roll center block. HRC is suppose to be better in higher grip. Are you guys using this on carpet. I have read and heard from a lot of you that the car handles better with the LRC block. What are your experiences. Those on carpet are you still using the LRC blockbuster have you tried the HRC block.

Fred, I know you have said you like the HRC block better for geometry purposes. With the new rear exotek bulkhead has that changed your mind??

Just trying to better tune. I think some of the twitchyness may be from me using the HRC block. Going to play around with it. Just wanted to know what you all have been using. I know the pros seem to all use the LRC.

Thanks!!!

I cut out one of the Proline Predator bodies for my Durango Exotek conversion and I'm not really liking it all that much. Sure my standard paint would really help it out but you cut a ton of body to make it fit. Only problem when you do a conversion like this. I'm going to grab one of my stock bodies and see what it looks like on this setup just so I know.

I put my V3 body on and fits perfect except on the sides since the car is about 1/4 narrower on each side but the body looks awesome on. I might just use that as at least it looks good. I can velcro the front very easy on my old body so just need to make something to hold the rear and I can use my nice body. If I use the Proline Predator I can velcro front and sides very easily.

Has hell frozen over? Tower says that the DEX210 v2 and v3 bodies will be in stock in September and October.

Maybe you can put some pics up of each of the bodies. I wanted to get the predator too when I ordered the Chasis. Would love to see some different pics other than the exotek site.
Thanks

Amezcua was running the Exotek chassis or prototype something at the Nats last weekend. It looks awesome with the body he was running. Anyone know which one it is?
