Just putting together a brand new gear diff for the dex210. Could not get the screws to go into the diff walls. Had to find a large pair of pliers and work the screws in and out. Took a long time. Using an Allen key was starting to strip the head. Quit for the night before I could screw on the diff covers. Anyone else have this problem?

The Durango screws are pretty soft. You need a perfect allen wrench or else you can strip the heads out easily. I run stainless screws in all of my cars but never got around to switching over the 210.

I just noticed on the Durango website that the Dex210v2 is no longer being manufactured? Is there a new car in the works?

That's interesting....I haven't seen any pics of a new car....other than the worlds car. I cannot imagine that it would work on tracks with low grip

Great.. I just bought a DEX210V2..
Yes there's a V3 on the way. Exotek actually let that slip on their site with the new mm rear bulkhead when they showed it compatible with V1, V2, and V3. We'll see what the V3 has in store but the best car so far is a combination of V1 and V2 parts so don't worry if you just bought a V2. Newer doesn't necessarily mean better.

I'd be more interested in a new Stadium truck.....class is exploding here

Anyone know how to get a set of inserts with the 0 degree fronts? I got a set with my DEX210v2 and would like to get another for my truck. The part number for the new and old are the same (TD330340). Yeah, I know I can cut down a pair of rears but I don't have a spare set of rear 0 degree inserts at the moment.
