Here's a link to the oople thread in which I got the idea:

The holes under the ones that you are using on the wing mount moves it above the standard tower anyways and works a treat

might try it higher up (second position) but that seems a little bit high up when I first set it up.

As you mentioned try to make the mounts somewhat soft so they can give with impact instead of breaking. Also if it matches up with the towers that people already have more people will want your aftermarket mounts I see a 3D printed version in your future!
I thought about that, but I just couldnt get it to work out. Most likely what I will do is include a drill template with the wing mounts so other mfg. shock towers can be drilled to work.
I wish I had the time and $$$ for a 3d printer, just not in the cards right now!

I'm not sure it's a good idea to drill extra holes in the tower, I've snapped a few towers already.

Got some progress made on the rear tower and wing mounts today. Decided to ditch the adjustable mount, too many holes ect.
Moved the wing up 12mm total. Hope to get to the track tomarrow to test.

Wing looks nice, but I want to see more of that CNC behind it!

Hello,

I was wondering if someone could help me diagnose why my DEX210 is running so slow (see video). I own Kyosho, X-Ray, Associated, and TLR, and I've never had an issue building/adjusting the ball diffs as compared to the Durango. I mean, w/ the LRP Flow and Reedy 13.5, I should see the tires ballooning.

The problem isn't the wing. It's up where a wing should be. The problem is modern body design. They are all way too low profile which keeps them well below the rear tower as opposed to shrouding it as they all should. The wing may not visually look as good up there with modern bodies but that's where they work. They do not work down behind a shock tower.

I would be willing to bet that the circle clip that holds the thrust assembly inside the diff isn't seated properly and became dislodged which is causing the diff to not engage properly....

I am thinking about pulling the trigger on a new 2wd buggy and I am looking between b5m and dex210. Have any of you owned a b5m and if so how does the dex210 stack up? What about it makes it better and is there anything that you wish it did that the b5m would do?

Very similar on paper they nearly have as muuch adjustment as each other.

Dex210 can go RM4 RM3 MM3 MM4 all parts are included in the kit. Rear shock can be mounted front and rear. can support a Shorty battery stick pack but not a sideways shorty.

B5M is stuck at MM4 but can support a Shorty battery sideways or a square pack but cannot fit stick pack.

Have only had the Dex210v1/v2 in RM3 and MM4.

I would say local parts support/availablity should be your deciding factor.
