Durango DEX210 Thread
you're allowed reverse at our club series. or at least, people have done it and no-one said anything.
i use it every now and then. you even touch the corrugated pipe lining the track and it sucks you in. its convenient to not have to go back down from the driver's platform to right yourself.
that said, i understand where you are coming from. as a novice, keeping the car on the track, learning the lines, finishing the race is key. the buggy is way twitchier than the SCT. and isn't as forgiving. i found that slow is fast, and fast is smooth when it comes to buggies.

Nothing is more valuable then learning how to keep off the pipes so you don't have to keep getting off the drivers stand....

Haven't used that body for a while, but I am using a Td +8 body, and there wasn't "a lot" of cutting for MM4, but if I went back to rear motor I am not sure I could deal with the missing lexan...

Here it is on my MM4. The only cutting needed is to cut out the motor plate. Top pic is with stock chassis, bottom pic is with +8 chassis.
Looks like tower has discontinued the RTR
Question. You think 16 gauge wire is too thin for a Stock 17.5 setup?

The carbon fiber +8 chassis from 8 racing. I have had the chassis on for almost 2 years and it did break at the front last week. I knew it was a weak point but it lasted long enough. If I decide to keep running it I will put the Exotek carbon chassis on as I love the way it handles with the carbon chassis.

Prototype chassis done, hope to have all the side braces and battery hold downs done this week!

interesting. is this a +8? what made you decide to make your own chassis? pretty curious as I've made my own custom chassis for the dex and I'd be interested to see if you are doing it for the same reasons I did.
