I got a rent a ride rango for the weekend was wondering if any one had a really good high bite clay surface setup they could hook me up with? We run on blue bar code slicks or aka ss slicks

I have both the stock chassis and the +8mm plastic chassis

There are soooooooo many pages on this thread I figured I would post and see if any one was able to just hook me up the easy way

Well thats one of the reasons there are soo many pages people want the easy way instead of reading them
I think there should be stickys in this thread with the most common questions.

Check peitit rc for set ups or the TD site and use them for a guideline unless you know someone that you drive like then use that

Yes, standard AE pads fit nicely. We used the high torque AE pads with RW spurs mostly and the center hole needs to be reamed out a bit to clear the center of the gear.

The Proline Bulldog body will fit the plus 8. Just bumps it out a bit.

The Dimec chassis has an extra bump out, that the std alumi chassis doesn't have, so the regular body bumps out in that area that it isn't designed for..

Trying one more setup change on that MM mount setup before giving up and just sticking w/ RM3 (right now rm3 is the faster of the two with out a doubt). Trying different rear tires, slightly softer suspension to see if it gives it the control I need, may go to a full size lipo as well. I'll run it one or two heats weds, then decide

Heres a pic of a +8mm and +8mm LW ready to be delivered trackside at the Reedy race this weekend

the LW weights 20g less then the regular one, so 20% less. The LW with the spacers weighs in at 83g, anyone know how much the stocker weighs? A second pair will also get sent out soon to be run the the Cactus Classis, alone with an alloy ST and SC chassis.
