Very do able, the obstacle is the body. Not sure how the stock body will line up with the ST chassis side pod area- TD made a new body for theirs to match it.

Edit: I checked the buggy body against the sc chassis and the small humps in the front of the sidepods severely interfere with the body. You would need the new body, or one from a different manufacturer that clears the side pods entirely.

I was running the stock RF Toe block 3/3, but pulled out a hinge pin when i caught a pipe. Will need to use the extra 0/3 or 1.5/3 until the metal tresrey 2/2 arrives. Which toe block should i use until the metal one gets here?

What does increasing or decreasing the anti-squat do to the buggy? I have experience with different toe settings but not anti-squat.

run the 1.5 with a 1mm shim under it to get you the 3* again, and som find that easier then swapping blocks so you just get the 0/3 and shim it as needed, hence why I sell contoured shims as on option with my blocks

Anti squat only affects weight transfer on throttle and when breaking so in theory Increasing it will squat less on throttle resulting in quicker power to the ground .

Less anti squat gives your power to ground a kind of delayed feel more squat on power.

I rule that I use is for stock 17.5 class I use more anti squat and less for mod.

never mind about my unanswered question (10.5t fdr gearing recommendations) ,,, novak has this page http://www.teamnovak.com/tech_info/b...r_gearing.html and petitrc gives fdr for spur pinion http://www.petitrc.com/setup/durango...art/index.html , now i wont have to bother asking for fdr again using these and another speed calculating site its not hard to figure out from here if anyone else is wondering about gearing to

I never understood FDR, let me take a shot and someone can verify this. For a 10.5T motor; the chart suggest 8FDR. So (87/28)x2.6= 8.078
This suggest you should start with a 28 pinion with the stock 87 spur?? Or lower and keep checking temps? Right? Thanks

http://scriptasylum.com/rc_speed/top_speed.html helps for telling speed if u use it right the front and rear diff ratio is a 1 since this a 2wd buggy and 2.6 transmission ratio , i have 75 81 and 87 spurs and 22-25 pinions so i was gonna try 24 75 thats 8.13 puts me around 37 mph but the pinion is to small to reach the 75 and 25t pinion is 7.8 , so i think i may buy a 78 spur so i can still change using my pinions and maybe a 26t if i need to gear up

Its getting late, and I still need to pack everything before tomorrow morning, but I thought I'd first get some pics up for everyoine to see before I leave for a few days. I think the hotel has wifi so I can probably answer some questions through out the weekend. This is the SC chassis on my buggy but the +8mm will look the same but 2 inches shorter

If the price point is lower than the current carbon offerings? Yes I'll take two.
