Keep me posted. I was thinking about
doing the same thing. What is your reason for the switch?

OK question people and I will get to reading threw this thread but for now I just thought I would throw it out there, I just picked up a used DEX210 from a friend that raced it 3 times on carpet only. I am planning to race it on a tight hard packed track and would like to keep the mid motor configuration, as it is I am sure I will need to redo the shocks as it is stiff for the carpet setup but can you help me as to where I should go and what to do to make this work in the Mid mount config.

Thanks guy's
Sean

Oh I am planning to get the rear weight from Tresery to add the needed weight for traction.

Lots of pretty red stuff on there! . We had 35/75 in Cush's buggy with a Revtech Magzilla. Actually ran down to 36/69 without any heat issue, but it didn't wind up as well as with the 75 spur. Probably drop a tooth or two if you have a standard rotor in it and see how it goes from there.

@Jonny5 Car looks good. I'd really recommend getting rid of the excessively long motor wires and bullet connectors. Should any of them ever come loosing during a run it will damage your esc.

Any word on the factory +8 chassis? Not interested in spending $130 on a CF one

I'm still working on one. Unfortunatly there has been some delays but I'm hopeing the process will start in the next couple weeks. Its looking like I'll be making a handful of custom legths for the desc210r and a few others then they'll all be getting hard anodized for a factory finish and durability, so that will take another couple weeks, so I'm really hoping by the end of the month they'll be done, but at this rate it'll probably be September all the joys of being a one man show with a machinist friend, not much more I can do unfortunatly.

I finally got my new body for my 210, just in time for our big race (Lee Matin was here, as was Tom Cockril) and here's the only pic I have of it so far
