It seems we 210 owners take a lot of pride on our clean layouts, great looking car Jonny5
I was taking a look at many of Jorn's buggy pictures and it appears he is using the 410 aluminum wing mount to secure his wing, anyone got any ideas how he does that? Not a fan of using those safety pins to secure my wing, even after boreing out the old wheel cones to use that instead of the stock plastic ones.

Jorn is using protypes of Im not sure what make but possibly durangos own. There is another company coming out with alu mount but not sure when they will be released, check redrc or neobuggy they had the company on their site.
I also use the cut 410 mount om my MM 210, I havent tried it on a RM car yet

Do u time down the motor on smaller tracks I have the 8.5 reedy with a brushlesshobbies 120a and 65c nanotech packs I'm trying to figure out if I should turn up the motor or just leave it at 20 and mess with the esc

typically when using boost you want to keep the motor timing at zero and let the ESc control your timing band. Using both will result in higher temps and "flattening" your power near the end of the race. With an 8.5 it already has plenty of low end so just bring in the turbo with about a .4 second delay and the smoothest ramp.

I typically leave an 8.5 with the std 20deg timing it comes with and leave the esc with no boost on its stock settings. 8.5 is a lot of motor for a 2wd buggy and you probably just need to gear for your particular track and you will be fine.

+1. You can always turn it up if you need more, but better to walk before you run, especially when feeling out a new ride.

If you crank your motor timing to 20* it is 20* at all times and will create unnecessary heat . If you use 20* of boost you can set where the power comes in and will give you a softer bottom end which tends to work better on 2wd since you are traction limited in most situations. 20* is 20* but by using the ESC for timing you can control when and where you need the power. Instead of having to "roll" the throttle you can be more aggressive with your trigger finger and not worry about over powering the car. Its much easier to apply 20* of timing once you are already moving than it is to add it from a dead stop. One of the reasons that boost works so well!

gear mesh problem ? so the driveling without the motor seems smooth spinning tires or spur to check the pinion on the motor spins smooth but as soon as the pinion and spur mesh no matter how tight or loose the mesh is it feels like its skipping gears on the spur when i spin the wheels gearing is 24 81 rm3 ,, any ideas? ive already taken it all apart and everything looks fine and it was put together right , and i just drove it with no problems walked up stairs and then it started ,, by the way thanks for the forum thats why i bought this buggy i love it after only driving a slash 4x4 and last rc were in 03 back in the brushed motor days
