I'm going to try to get back into RC this year. Is the DEX210 too aggresive for someone who has only about a year of RC racing under their belt? i plan to run 17.5 stock to start. I like the looks of the car, the adjust ability looks great, and the parts availability is going to be resolved soon.

It's not too aggressive, the availability of parts has really hurts its popularity since its release. Find a setup that works with your track, and it'll be great IMO..

Anyone know if those diff outdrive covers that come with the dex410 (310039) will fit the 210 outdrives?

I get bored so I took the opportunity for a gear chart: http://www.petitrc.com/setup/durango..._GearChart.pdf

Feel free for comments as I'm not sure about the pinions range.

Im using the taper piston from Nick over at Oople. They work great.

Also I have done a shock mod to my MOS shocks. I dont use the MOS shock shaft, but I retained the standard shock shaft, s I could reuse the taper pistons. I hand drilled the white spacer and seat to 3.5mm so the shock shaft could pass through perfectly. It works great. I also use associated orings in my shock with green slime and no leaks at all.
I read somewhere a comment a while back about MIP blue orings. I believe the MIP blue oring is the same as the silicone oring used by Traxxas..

It's in a town called Staples, up north not far from Brainerd. It's at a Motocross facility, and they let us build a track and run our nitro and elec cars there a couple times a year..Lot of fun..

Anyone who tried my car said it was probably the easiest car they have ever driven.

Same, I let a guy drive mine last weekend and he loved it. Said it was very easy to drive compared to his X-Factory.

Pinions look fine.

I would dump everything above 87 and add the 69T spur.

No, but there is a set that comes in the 210 kit made for it. The boots are different though and the 210 specific ones arent out yet
