thats the nature of the beast, you have to make sure you are not on the throttle when you launch and some drag brake will also help. Adding weight will make it that much harder to get down once its already started to go up. Work on your launch technique first, second work on your front suspension settings, try thicker oil to slow down the rebound.

I am running my full size lipo in the forward position. This helps with the balance and jumping control tremendously. This is the battery position that would be used in mid-motor position. It places the battery right up next to the steering servo.

Auto, no worries i understand! your going to like RM much better, i am really liking the traction of RM4.

I dont think i would start off with 10k on the RM though, you may end up back that high but i didnt even like 3k!!
So, what is it about the oil you're not liking? Is the diff unloading too much or not enough for you?

I installed the Diggity Designs carbon towers today. The bolted up fine and the quality is great.

I did run into a small issue. The tower is thinner than the shoulder on the shock standoffs. I had to drill out a 1mm washer to space it out so that they could be tightened down.

The inside front camber stud is at an angle, but does not rub.

Waaay over priced for a 60c shorty. If you're sponsored, you probably get them for a lot less, but to the general consumer that's just ridiculous.

ProMatch Racing. 60c shorties for $60 shipped.

I'm also pretty sure LiPo's are like how NIMH batteries are. You have a few manufacturers (IP/GP/EP for NIMH cells) and then everyone buys from those few companies. All these shorty LiPo's have the same cells, same case, different sticker. For someone to pay double the price for the same product is crazy.

You can find the rev tech for 89.99. That is still high. I just ended up getting the Protek 70c shorty which was still quite a lot of money but I could not find anything else that wasn't sold out other than the venom.

$60 shipped in the USA. Not sure what it work be for overseas.

As far as approval, no idea. My pack doesn't have a sticker.

http://www.promatchracing.com/

Great products though. I ran a ton of their NIMH batteries and never had a single issue with any of them.

Actually, the 60c Protek I have is slightly shorter, and weighs less than the 60c ProMatch I have. It's definitely a different case.
