ok so its built by the book 1.3 pistons in front with red springs and 1.2 in the back with green springs.. I like the way it jumps but the back just slaps the ground when it hits.. Not sure of the oil he ran in it but what would you try from there?
I dont have the spring kit but I can glue some holes and change oil, any help to get that rear end from bottoming out would be awesome. without buying a bunch of springs
rear motor right now

I thought the kit came witl light and dark blue springs, so how did you build it by the book with red and green?
red and green are option springs, not the stockers

Stock springs = Junk.
I have been working on finding a setup that I like on this car and last night I tried a boat-load of big changes to narrow down what was working fo me. Last change I made was to switch to some Losi 22 springs that I had and the car dropped almost a half second on a 13.5-14 second track. Still need more but could run 14.1's consistently where I was struggling to get in the 14.5's. I feel like the springs were the problem the whole time and need more time to tune again with these springs.
I made a conversion chart between the Durango springs and the Losi ones. Maybe others will find it useful as well:
Losi Springs vs Durango Springs

On the bench, dropping the car with the stock springs, the car would land and not come back up, just land with a thud, with the Losi springs, the car was rebounding and seems more conformable/responsive to the track.
The track I run on has some silt in it and is hard pack/smooth with medium grip. Running a boosted 13.5. The track is adding in some clay in the coming weeks so grip should start to come up. I will be racing on a higher grip track Saturday so we will see how the car does there.
I have a master build/setup sheet that I have been slowly filling in that includes the spring chart. If there is any interest, I can post that as well.

Ah, your list is great no hating here!! I find alot of people not utilizing Petit and oople enough. Alot of questions are answered with a little research.
