Yay! Just ordered mine! Found a danish retailer with one in stock. I'll get it this week!

It's my first 1/10th buggy and i was wondering of what kind of servo I need?
I would like something faster than 0.1 but what king of tourge is recommended?
I'll be running MM on a carpet track.

I currently run Savox 1258TG Servos in all of my 1/10th scale vehicles and it's awesome.......Now before anyone says that I'm only saying this because I have a sponsorship I want to tell you that I have been using these servos for almost a year and the reason I chose them was because they were a great bang for the buck and many of the racers at my local track had used them with great luck......

the Savox 1258TG usually runs around $67.99 and it has a transit speed of .08 with I believe 167 oz. torque.......I have seen them used in everything from my DEX210 and DESC410r Short Course Truck to other guys using them in the Losi Ten SCTE which is quite a bit heavier.....

I'm using that one for both steering and throttle in my 8th scale buggy, so would have guessed it to be overkill. But I've never had any issues it so why not stick with it.

Also, what kind of gearing would you recommend?
I'll be running LRP SXX comp and LRP X12 Stock Spec 13.5 (limit of the danish stock class) and racing against stock 22's and b4.1's.

Keep in mind that I have no experience with either 2wd nor 1/10th, so I don't need anything crazy fast.

I feel the same way about them, and I've got no sponsers

But would you compare it to the 1257? Slightly faster but not as strong. Would that be better for this kind of buggy?

The 1257 has plenty of torque for this buggy if you feel the extra speed will help you over the 1258. Either way they are both a good value and have proven to be a reliable, high quality servo.
