Big race this weekend and finally had ballcup issues. It was on my MM4 setup with the shocks mounted on the back. It happened what I hit a jump wrong and landed on my lid. I think the shock spring may have been doing it also. Going to try switching to the straight ball cups and possibly turnbuckles with a smaller adjustment part.

A lot of people have been going to RDRP because of the value. I like RDRP but there aren't any droop tabs on that chassis. Just good to note.

from what i read you can use the DEST front axle and is shorter than the sc axle. you can search the thread for more info. that is how i found this.

Yes....look back a couple of pages i kind of remember someone selling a kyosho axle kit. Cheaper than you can build it for. I run the same setup no issues.

Looking for a little help before indoor comes up. I just need a starting point and I will change from there. I purchased this dex210 and I have been running 4x4sct and Ebuggy outdoors. I am going to start hitting some practice days with it starting tonight and want a few pointers in the 2wd world. It is currently set up mid motor since I will be running only on clay tracks which I believe is the right choice. If not someone tell me and I will switch it. Running a Novak Havoc esc with a 10.5 novak balistic and I also have a 13.5 (havent decided which class to run yet)

Anyone else with a RTR that leaked all of it's diff oil in the box? Not a big issue for me since I was going to go through the diff and shocks anyways but still a QC issue nonetheless...

Installed a Savox 1251MG, 4PL Receiver, Proline Calibers, Proline 4 Ribs, shocks with 30wt, and diff with 3K.

Excited to get it on the track tomorrow!!!

There are several setups posted on team-durango.com as well as petitrc.com to get you started with a setup. I would think the 'stock' setup is outdated and based on the stock aluminum chassis, not based on the +8 chassis if you are going that route.

Why can't I find a setup sheet for the "out of the box" kit build? I have read through 335 pages of this thread, and I can't even find one! I appreciate all that I'm learning about the car, but I'm not what you would call a competitive racer, so I would like to set up my car as it was intended before I start tuning.

I believe the steering is supposed to be set up at -4 trailing, and the rear antisquat is set at 1.5 degrees, but I am not sure .....

Hopefully someone here has a sheet they can share, as the sheets on here are all over the place.....

I will be running RM3 since I know that is important. For now, I will be running all stock parts including springs, and would like to know where to set ride height (and everything else) as I good base. I can't believe Durango did not include a sheet, if only to make setup quicker.
