I know they have a front 12mm hex conversion with the Kyosho parts but I thought I heard of one using the Losi front axle and the DESC210 steering knuckle. Anyone heard of this one.

You can use the DESC front assembly and just put a 12mm hex on it. Some index washers would be needed.

A straight pin with no hex?
If you shimmed the axle for a little side to side play, you could run an older style pin drive wheel if you found one that sits tight on the axle as to have no run out. If the wheel isn't tight on the axle, it would most likely wobble as it rotated.

I assume you have some older wheels you want to run on your car?

You can use the pin drive setup off of the original DEX410 with a shorter pin. You'll need the cone washer and wheel distance bushing, and possibly a few shims.

Oh man, don't tell me you got a dingo!

I hear it works really well at bumps in mid motor!

If you really are getting a dex210 I think you'll like it. There's plenty of stuff to tweak and try out that I'm sure you'd appreciate. Personally, I'm switching mine back to mid motor. I was faster with mid than rear. I just gotta figure out how to squeeze out a little more traction.

Hey Nick it is true I will have one in a week or so. I'm actually testing a new line of hopups from STRC. Can't wait to get it all ready and run it on the track at Bumps. Going to get a good amount of time in so Ican really test out all the new parts. Going to concentrate more on buggy this fall instead of SC like I mainly run.

I was thinking about turning my 210 into a dirt oval car. Has anyone done this? If you have, what parts did you use? Thanks
