I am using the front skid plate from the sct. Just cut it down and it works great.

Thanks, but I purposely run in that direction. When they are run like that they are perfectly parallel with the tower. I also run an extra 2mm spacer in rear to make rear shock parallel with tower.

i am a dex210 owner. i like this car but i wish i would get some of the tuning, as the asso b4.2 has as standard

( alloy on the shocks, titan turnbuckles, alloy rear hubs, alloy servo mount, servo saver, alloy battery nut, alloy shock mounts, a good ball diff, +8mm chassis, carbon battery strap, tin nitride shock shafts...)

it cost much to get the dex210 on the b4.2 tuning level.

Building this kit right now. My first Durango, and first 2wd car, but I have many others.
Is it normal to be short a couple screws and shims in the first couple bags? Is there any baseline setup for initial build?
Thanks.

I think you used the word tuning when you meant hop-ups. Box stock, there is no kit that has more tuning options. You would have to spend $100+ to get all the hub options that come standard on the 210.

"Battery nut" are not tuning - that is show. A "good ball diff" comes with the car - watch the video online and build it right. It will go far longer than any diff you have used.

The buggy is a tuners dream out of the box. Actually to many options for a bulk of the racers out there.

hi there.. yes i mean hop ups :-)

if i look how much set up option is on the car, this would be the other positive side of the dex210.

the other + on the dex210, is how bulletproof the car is.

After breaking my second rear tower of the season last night (in the middle of the main, might I add), I decided I should invest in a sturdy CF tower. The exotek looks like the best option, but its out of stock. Does anybody know how long Exotek generally takes to restock?

What are other good options? I know about Tresrey, but they are a little on the pricier side.

It was bag A, with the chassis. I was short 2 tiny shims and 2 screws.
Now I'm having trouble assembling the diff, should the caged thrust bearing fit all the way onto the shaft? Only one side plate(that sandwiches the caged bearing) of it will, on the other side plate the hole is a touch too small and won't go past the threads. Something doesn't seem right to me...............

Edit- searched and found a link to the description/video. Thanks.

i have found that the diff needs to be broken in very carefull!
take some extra time to break it in, and it seems to work best a little on the tight side? (bench testing) on the track feels free as any other diff

Stormer Hobbies has the Exotek rear shock tower in stock.
