Pistons I don't remember and was sloppy during that part of the build but I was planning on changing them once I did more reading and played with the truck more.
Rear rebar tires now with soft AKA foams.

I have a dimec20. I hesitate to use it since I am driving in a winter series in a heated barn and I wonder if it would be too stiff. I would only make a chassis change to try to see what a flexible chassis feels like. I have read of people saying they tried both dimec chassis but have not heard of any reports.
I personally like the stock chassis. Yes because with that low of rear toe the car wants to go straight and not turn.
1.) Up your rear toe between 3-4 play with it to where it turns better but doesnt get loose.
2.) lighter front spring
3.) little heavier rear spring
4.) go to 4 hole 1.3 pistons rear 1.2 pistons front
5.) I would look into 35wgt front and 30wgt rear.
6.) move your battery forward.

You can try these changes, do not change them all at once do 1 at a time so you know what the change is doing. Unless you want to ditch your current setup all together.

I realize most guys aren't having outdrive wear issues, but I have....3 sets of outdrives just this winter.....
Here's the fix I came up with:
http://www.team-durango.com/part-inf...artNo=TD310022
Grease the outdrives and put those on it (they fit perfect)....no more issues

Curious what other 210's are weighing in at please post up your weight.

My Carpet setup 1499 without body and 1536 with body full race dress.

I'm now setting up for dirt I think it will add around 20 to grams to the rear as I'm going to try and make the mid motor work.

New paint job, I forgot to back the green on the body with white, so not as bright as I would have liked.
Also my liquid mask was a pain to get off so there are blemishes, Had let is dry for to long (24ish hours), and soaking it in water for several hours didn't loosen it off the body.

I don't owna dest210 so can't comment on what that uses but the desc210 and dex210 use different front hubs. the buggy has tuning options to change trailing/inline setup and also an axle the rim rides on.
The short course has no tuning options for trailing/inline setup and the wheel rides on a hex on the axle.

hope that all makes sense to you

Short course

buggy

Can you use the buggy knuckles on the SC to get those tuning options?

I finally put a gear diff in my buggy. Long story short, I always had to run my ball diff tighter than I would have liked to keep it from barking. The gear diff with 5k diff lube felt great on the track. I was definitely faster around the track with it. My car had more steering all around and felt more stable/planted/confident in the sweepers. I'm happy.

I used an AE gear diff because it was actually in stock (TD's part support is really starting to bug me) but didn't order enough 10x12x.02mm shims. I grabbed some m10 flat washers from work and they did the trick in a pinch. They're heavy, but they'll work.

Thanks, EVERYONE in my area has cab forward bodies so I am not the biggest fan of them but I am sure I'll come to like it once I have it on the track.
