Nothing like building a new toy, except for the enemies that are Time / Work and occasional wife nagging.

Managed to get the chassis / front steering / savox servo / front shock tower installed last night

Hopefully the rest of tonight, and the fact i am off work and home all day tomorrow should see this car finished, minus body...

Thanks to SC10CHAMP for the rock and roll hand in shot

I have one of these on the way. I'm going to run in mid motor configuration on a carpet track. What would I need to upgrade or is this thing pretty bulletproof out of the box?

Current pics of my DEX210 - the CF shock towers are mine - I made them. I got the Exotek front aluminum bits because I haven't found a way to make those yet.

Im running on ozite with the 210. So far the only thing I have busted is the ball stud ripped of the rear hub. other then that it's been solid. I upgraded a few thing like Aluminum spacers and thumb screws the plastic ones not so good. And I picked up a Exotek aluminum threaded shock posts for easy monting. The stock nuts are a pain! And you might want to pick up a better steering link the stock one is kind of IMO...bad.

Oh....and some Aluminum rear hexes are real nice to!

Nice bling, you should put some countersunk washers on your servo tabs and get some gold nuts for your shocks Also you are missing a screw on one of your front arms.

lol, I thought about it but I like the screws that it uses instead with the unthreaded part into the towers.

Didn't even notice the POS ESC in there, but noticed the lack of bling...

My new Novak GTB2 fried the first day using it, so I'm having to use my backup until it comes back from warranty.

What screw am I missing? By the shock mount? You only use 1 of the 2 holes.

The outer hinge pin on the right, if you look at it from the front.

Just finishing up my build-car looks great and the shocks are awesome-so smooth.
I have one question about the rear droop screw- does anyone know what size hex wrench you need for this screw? I have tried all of mine and I cannot figure it out- 1.5 is too big and 1.3 is too small

1.5 works on ours- maybe it's just a bit tight?
